Further, they represent Nepal in Men’s international cricket. The cricketing board of Nepal has been an associate member of the ICC, since 1996. Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground (TUICG) is the home ground of Nepal, located in Kathmandu. The Nepal team were given T20I status by the ICC in June 2014 and earned ODI status in 2018. The Cricket Association of Nepal was made to promote cricket amongst the upper classes in 1946. Match details of India vs Nepal (The 5th match of the Group A, 04 September 2023)
The match was played on 04 September 2023 at Kandy. Further, India won the toss and elected to field first. However, the rain disturbed the match four times which forcefully took the match for less overs due to the DLS system. The entire Nepal team got out in 230 runs in 48.2 overs. When the Indian team came for the batting in the field, the rain troubled the game in 2.1 overs. Due to the rain, the match was delayed and for this reason, India had to score 145 runs in 23 overs to win the game. The Indian opener scored very well and it led to winning the game. Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain, was the man of the match for the game.

Final words
The match was dominated by the Indian team from the start of the match to the end. However, the match was troubled by the rain and that’s why the over and runs were reduced to 145 runs and 23 overs. But the Indian opener chased the mark very well and won the game before 3 overs of the match ended without any loss of wickets.
